Our foundation course is perfect for dogs and handlers that have completed beginner training course and are looking to progress towards our more advanced gundog courses but may need a bit more time to work on core skills and obedience.
On the foundation course you and your dog will learn how to walk to heel and behave correctly around other dogs and handlers. We will then progress to walking off lead and performing stay in place and recalls. For those that want to we may also start to look at the basics of retrieving. It's worth noting that the foundation course is as much about you the handler learning to communicate and gesture towards your dog as it is about training your dog, it's a team effort and you'll need to work together to achieve success.
